Our philosophy

Family passion

For four generations our family has lived in symbiosis with bees, aware of the value they represent for the balance of our Nature.
In 1946 Agostino Bianco gave his nephew Mario a beehive for his birthday and from that moment on our story began and still goes on…

The imprint

The other family passion, producing wine, has greatly influenced our company philosophy.
The concept of single-varietal has been transferred to the world of honeys, choosing single-flower as a quality objective.
There are great vintages of wines as well as great vintages of honeys.

Italian honey is culture

Italy, with its extraordinary botanical richness, influenced by the Alps and the Mediterranean, represents a gold mine for the production of high quality honeys.
It is no coincidence that the only official school of honey tasters in the world was born here, and we are proud to be part of it.

Continuous challenge

Our company philosophy is perfectly expressed by its founder Mario Bianco: “Bees make honey, all we do is bring them to the flowers“.
We are constantly looking for uncontaminated terroirs where the encounter between bees and flowers can be perceived through the emotions that honey communicates at the moment of its tasting.

Experimentation

Through collaboration with other artisans of taste we are constantly looking for new products in which honey, as an ingredient, is the main protagonist and finds new balances.
Examples include “Honey Diamonds” chocolates and “Mielò” liqueur, the latter a fusion of traditional Piedmontese grappa with Sicilian honey.

Fly with us over the Alps

One of our strongest desires is to share the emotions we feel with our bees during the transhumance in the Alps.
